Leading an Overdue Digital Transformation in Healthcare

In recent years, Ontario's health care system has been under pressure to meet the needs of a growing and aging population.  Combined with data existing in disparate systems across local, regional, and provincial levels, the time is ripe for digital transformation activities.  In this session, we will discuss how technology and innovation can lead us to meet those needs.

1. Understanding of the background that led us to an environment with siloed data
2. Identification of the challenges and how they can be overcome
3. Acknowledging the patient's voice and experience as part of the health team so requirements can be met and the patient experience can be improved
