How Being a Third Culture Individual Helped Me as a Professional

Think Tank - 11:30 am - 11:55 pm

We often choose to work with nearshore companies in order to maximize our capabilities and obtain the largest return on investment possible. However experience teaches us that outsourcing anything to external companies, often results in having to cater for issues that we have never had before. The handling of these new challenges almost always has a negative impact on the investment made, causing our decision to outsource, to quickly become unpopular.

There are however aspects which I will share during this session, that are often ignored, even though they could be the key component to a successful outsourcing.

Takeaways:

  1. What to look for - beyond the obvious - when choosing to outsource.
  2. What can you do as a leader to be successful when outsourcing
  3. How to balance internal teams with external (outsourced) ones.
