Last years have already shown us changes towards a digital workplace. The current pandemic situation has accelerated this change drastically, however. This will have lasting effects on our daily working routine challenging former workplaces, business-processes, and structures alike. The classic office-workplace will however not disappear due to a pandemic period, as crucial aspects of our society and urban landscapes are in fact build around our daily commute to the office, coming back home in the evening. Now, it is up to us to achieve a lasting change towards a digital workplace finding the right balance between the digital and the classic workplace.
