Credential stuffing attacks are increasingly common and can leave a great deal of destruction in their wake. The Canadian government was the recent target of one such attack in which hackers obtained and used stolen credentials to access over 9,000 accounts on GCKey, the authentication system that provides access to dozens of government departments.
Rapid detection and mitigation is critical to minimizing the impact of these attacks, and even the most mature organizations are vulnerable if they don't have the right preventative measures in place.
