Certain activities, best practices, etc. have been identified as drivers of key performance indicators and still these driving metrics are not being leveraged in a way that adds the value they can deliver. Unlike the typical legacy dashboarding model showing data from days or even weeks ago, a model that only allows users to react to the data, real time, or near real time, analytics can create a culture of action where issues are identified and addressed before they become failures impacting key performance indicators.
