Seamless integration of physical and digital technologies, flexibility and future-proof architecture, integration with third parties - combined with superior user experience - are not differentiators anymore, they are expected. Companies that effectively execute customer co-creation at scale, integrate with partners, implement modular API-based open architectures, and embrace digital-native ways of working will lead in this transition. A solid and future-proof technology infrastructure (e.g. IoT platform, robust and lean ERP core, data platform) is enabler and prerequisite for accelerated development, delivery and scaling digital solutions and digital use cases.
