Glenn Willis
President & CEO - Acting EVP SBS Division
Glenn Willis is president and chief executive officer of CDM Media, a leading global custom design marketing company.
Joining the company in 2005 as VP Sales, Willis rose rapidly, serving in key leadership positions within the BIR division, corporate development and integrated marketing unit. Named to lead CDM Media in 2007, Willis led the company's highly successful year to record profits and major growth.
With the goal of establishing CDM Media as the world's leading custom design marketing company, Willis has sharpened CDM Media's strategic focus and concentrated its investments on three long-term growth opportunities: business intelligence reports, strategic business summits and custom design marketing solutions for leading global companies.
At the same time, Willis has improved CDM Media's operating efficiency and execution as well as its financial performance and customer focus. The result has been increasing growth and profitability, greater value for customers and a stronger competitive position.
Prior to joining CDM Media, Willis spent seven years at GDS International, where he held a variety of management, operations, sales and marketing roles that culminated in his two-year tenure as SVP Global Operations. His leadership was marked by successful efforts to substantially improve sales, bolster the position of GDS's product line and build a strong executive team.
Nick Backhouse
VP North America- BIR Division
Nick joined the North American Division of CDM Media in July 2007 and is responsible for developing and implementing CDM Media's strategy for all BIR (Business Intelligence Reports) projects in the region. He oversees sales, marketing, product development and corporate strategy for the BIR division.
Nick previously served as Director of Sales, EMEA, where he was instrumental in driving the success of the company's pan European projects. Prior to joining CDM Media, Nick served as a Business Development Manager for GDS International. Based in Sydney, Nick was responsible for project development in key markets in the Asia Pacific region, including China, Singapore and Indonesia.
Nick holds a Bachelor's of Commerce degree as well as a Master's in Economics from Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia.
Mark Southam
Director - SBS Division
Mark has considerable experience in marketing, previously he was head of financial services for a UK based global media company during which he was responsible for overseeing multiple event and publishing projects. Notably whilst there, he was credited with a number of strategic partnerships and worked closely alongside the European Commission and European Central Bank.
Prior to entering the media world, Mark was an officer in the Royal Air Force training as a pilot.
Outside of work Mark is a keen sportsman and enjoys rugby, skiing, golf and has recently taken up cooking.
Torey Herr
Events & Marketing Director
Torey is responsible for CDM Media's event coordination, partner marketing, client contact and end to end logistics of all summits under the SBS Division. Prior to joining CDM Media, Torey was the CEO of ITS Models and Talent Management from 2001 - 2005. ITS is a leading talent agency on the East Coast focusing on developing and nurturing young actors for multi-national TV and film campaigns with agencies such as IMG, Abrams Artist & CED. Throughout her career she has gained over ten years of experience in B2B marketing and event organizing and plays an integral role to CDM Media's expansion into international markets.
In her spare time, Torey enjoys pilates, soccer and her two dogs Pip and Squeak.
Aaron Mason
Director - Technical Services
Aaron is a California native with over 14 years in the IT/Media industry, Aaron is responsible for the company's online presence, information technology strategy, systems development and operation of all supporting infrastructure. Throughout his career Aaron has worked as Head of IT/Development delivering web-based applications for the medical industry, Marketing/Art director in the online fashion retail sector, and Application Developer/Designer for event organizations specializing in the Fortune 500.
Joining the CDM Media team in 2007, Aaron brings with him the creativity essential for delivering cutting-edge media to the executive market, the necessary experience in managing and producing best-practice online products, and the drive crucial to carrying CDM Media's brand forward.
In his spare time Aaron is an avid hiker, surfer, painter, and on occasion produces local mixed-media / independent music and film events.
Katie Graves
Online Marketing and Business Development
Katie brings with her an extensive background in online marketing and business development ranging from event services, intellectual property, real estate and now all media. During her career, Katie has worked as the marketing director and graphics manager for a real estate marketing firm specializing in online client exposure and global partnerships.
At CDM Media, Katie is in charge of maximizing the lead generation potential to achieve extraordinary results for our clients. In addition to developing more effective lead development programs, she develops and maintains partnership relations.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys training for triathlons, playing beach volleyball, and painting.
